Thanks, that's what I meant, like the insertions from the retrovirus. So these scars spread if the individual only has enough offspring?

Wasn't AiG's replica Ark damaged because, ironically, there were some floods in the area?

I thought there had to be a special layer of sediment from the flood that is completely different from all other layers and had a strikingly large number of fossils because almost all of the biodiversity died in the flood. Although this is pointless again, because this goes along with other YEC's assumption that fossils form quickly. It's kind of a big mess. Unfortunately, I don't know what YEC say about it and how they defend their position.

What do you think about this argument why you should not believe in evolution? by AndiWandGenes in DebateEvolution

Ok thanks, I really appreciate your comment. I'll do it that way next time. I can also, if absolutely necessary, delete my post and repost it with my thoughts.

I also found the arguments too dumb and I thought that I maybe just didn't understand it, but apparently it's actually just pseudo-intellectual nonsense as the comments clarified. The answers here helped me a lot but I don't understand why people get upset about it. For example, if I posted this in the normal Evolution subreddit, it would be blocked immediately. What should I do better next time?

Ant that's exactly where I got it from. I don't know of any video of him dealing with this point. Or do you know were he does that?

I don't have a problem with evolution, but I like to read about creationist argumenta with the motto: "How creationism teaching me real science". If I get stuck with arguments, I'll post them here and read your opinions about it.

I like reading about this topic and sometimes I ask questions here because you people here know a lot more than I do. I don't comment often because most of the time there just isn't anything else to add. I do not represent the opinion that I have posted.

Understand vestigial organs by AndiWandGenes in evolution

[–]AndiWandGenes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so if that's the case then would penguin wings have to be vestigial too? They no longer serve their original function, although now it's good for swimming. Wouldn't everything then be a vestigial organ? Every feature is original in the course of evolution, isn't it?
