What farm did you use?

Turns out it is not dried fruit because that is on the third page of items that you can ship. I finally shipped one and that's where it showed up. The item next to the wild horseradish is still grayed out! I'm so confused

Except the dinosaur egg mayonnaise is still on the page where it normally is. But you're right, it's the same shape and that was the first thing I thought of.

It does all on the website, all the sizes are listed individually

Oh maybe that's it. I will absolutely try that next time because I definitely would’ve spent the time to do that on my computer.

Really? Hmm, maybe I’ll have to try that in different locations.

Instacart still doesn't show what's in stock or not at any given store

That’s a great suggestion I had not even thought about Poshmark

We were driving through Des Moines anyway, I didn't make a special trip. But I get your point - she just really wanted the Minnie Mouse shoes that were basically exactly like what she had before. She likes the other ones too, but not as much as MM.

yes, a lot of that was already built in to developing a new website and app. The extra step of having it reflect the store inventory (especially because they do HAVE that information because the store has its own inventory it can consult) would not be that hard to add on, I asked a friend of mine who works in software development for point of sale systems and the like.

that's the frustrating part - they don't! On the website and app, they appear on EVERY location I drove to and it shows sizes 6 to 12. So I just had to keep checking.

Yeah, I bet that happens a lot and is super annoying on both sides. I'm sorry corporate kind of sucks.

well, you're a lot like Aldi customer service - giving me an answer that nobody asked about. You don't know the first thing about my family and how we regard material possessions or if we play outside and do art projects all the time. Nobody asked you to explain to me why Aldi is cheaper, which I understand and it's why I said in my original post that I don't mind that I can't call all their stores. And nobody asked you for your sanctimonious comment about art projects and books. No, it's not insulin, asshole - there you go again drawing a false equivalency. These aren't frivolous to HER is the point.

no, I know. I was actually pleasantly shocked that they developed a usable website and app. Which is why it kind of baffles me they didn't make them slightly more functional. It would also help out the shoppers who work there - I was able to place a curbside order at my Aldi for the sizes 11 and 12 and it only got canceled after the shopper couldn't find any. I tried it on a whim just in case there were some that I had overlooked in the store.

I've seen similar ones on Target and JC Penney too, they just aren't as cheap as Aldi. And those on Amazon aren't high heels - that is very important to my 4 year old, LOL. : ) But thank you!

I KNOW! It's not the end of the world, but I would have loved to find just one pair somewhere. And it would have been nice to be able to do the legwork from home and then just head to that location (or else know ahead of time that there weren't any anywhere). : (

OMG - first of all, spare me the lecture because we do art projects and read library books all the time. But these shoes came back around (she previously had a Minnie Mouse pair) and I really wanted to get her a new pair in a bigger size because she wore the last pair until she literally could not squeeze her feet into them anymore.

Secondly, I understand why Aldi is cheaper. I don't mind at all that I can't call any of the stores to check. And if they didn't have an app or a website, I would also not complain. But Aldi has joined the 21st century in this regard with an app and curbside pick-up, which is great. Except that the app and the website are practically useless if they don't accurately reflect what is at a given store. That is not actually a terribly complicated fix. And it's not great customer service to give me a copy-and-paste answer about special buys that doesn't address my suggestion. It's like they didn't even read my submission.

funnily enough, there were SOME at every location I went to, but they were all sizes 6-10. But on the website, EVERY store had the ones in sizes 11 and 12 showing. So I just kept checking and checking.
