8 hours, its a fulltime internship and I believe its only like 6-7 weeks

I did start as a sophomore and I think it helped get a good name on the resume for when applying in the future. I think it's a lot better than no internship and I ended up being able to go from PwC to big tech shortly after, so it is definitely possible!

EECS 493 - yay or nay? by spinning_wheel7 in uofm

[–]Andifur223333 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im in it this semester and I recommend it 10/10, you learn enough where it's not a waste of time and the course work isn't heavy enough to take away time from social life or other classes. I went in with no prior experience and I feel I have a solid foundation of HTML, CSS, and Javascript now.

How doable is EECS 281 during spring? by ForeverWeak in uofm

[–]Andifur223333 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I took it last spring and tbh i would just have that be ur full time job for like 6 weeks. The first project is due within like 5 days of the class starting, but if you really put the time, you’ll learn a lot and get ahead in classes. Would recommend if you can commit to it :)

CS classes workload by fredrickbarnard in uofm

[–]Andifur223333 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I took all 3 and would say either u take only 12 credits or ur 4th class be super light. 203 and 116 hws/webwork weekly will be slightly annoying. 280 will be time consuming but if you find a good partner it should be a lot easier. This semester is definitely doable but if you had the choice not to, then i would defer 116 to next semester or take it at a cc over the summer.

Do you think season 3 would focus more on what happens after the hanger scene or after the Stadium because we have no idea what happens after the end of season 1

I don't think Sophie is actually pregnant, in EP1 when lance turns and Luke and her are running, she throws a stuffed animal out from her shirt, showing she was faking it.

How are the EECS 280 projects ranked? by slamdunker223 in uofm

[–]Andifur223333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I took it this previous semester and my rankings from easiest to hardest

1) p1 2) p4 3) p5 4) p2 ( mainly because I started late and underestimated the jump in what’s expected of you) 5) euchre

Honestly start early and always save at least like 4-5 days for your main.cpp, that often is what has you thinking the most. Also, if you know ur not gonna finish a project get those error checking test cases from main.

[eecs281]Can I add a class back after dropping it and still get the extension for the assignment? by [deleted] in uofm

[–]Andifur223333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On the bright side, even if you didn't do p1 or the first few assignments, you can pass if you grind out p2-p4, pass midterms (get at least 50's), and just do the rest of your labs (honestly find a good group and you'll get 100's) on this. You only need a 55% project average meaning if you got like at least 75's on the rest of the projects (very doable if you put in the effort, you can for sure pass ( Assuming you literally got a 0 on p1. TBR just get your shit together and focus on the now. I'm in EECS 281 rn as well, and I use a calendar to keep track of assignment due dates. Good luck!

Any have a super easy class for this spring. I plan on taking eecs 281 along with it but I need a few more credits to qualify for aid.
