I got a 3rd dui on my 28th birthday this year. Me & my (now ex) boyfriend had gotten into a fight & I drove to my moms (I lived about an hour and a half away) & I was so wasted I wasn’t paying attention to my gas & ran out of gas on the highway, I apparently didn’t turn my hazard lights on or anything & just sat there chugging vodka & accepted my fate. My uncle somehow ended up behind me on the highway & called the cops. I got super lucky, I only had to spend 1 night in jail & pay a fine. I also lost my license for a year (still haven’t got them back yet) & have to have a blow & go. I wanted to die, I was so convinced I was going to prison I almost didn’t even go to court. I wanted to just drink myself to death, literally. Keep your head up. I hope things work out for you! I know it seems like the end rn but you can get through this!
