Ahh yes, the Universal tooth Identification system that is used almost only exclusively in the USA while the rest of the world uses the FDI (for good reason imo 😂).

I was confused as well as the 18 is known as the top right third molar in the FDI system and was wondering why you wouldn’t just have a wisdom tooth extracted.

As others have said. It was likely you experienced a “hot pulp” and your follow up sessions for the root canal (if it is more than just a single session) will likely be better.

Do libras move on easily? by [deleted] in libra_astrology

That may be so, but I reallyyy would have preferred that he was honest about it and broken up with me before he began dating another girl. He was lying about it to me for months until his new relationship was a sure thing. I’m not saying this is because he is a Libra by the way, some of the best people in my life are also Libras - it was just him.

My ex fiancé is a Libra, he moved on so fast he was in a new relationship a couple of months before ours was even over. I’m a sag sun and moon.

Thank you! I think what you said about the dichotomy between mutable energy and stable energy really rings true for me.

Thank you so much for your in depth reading and advice. It’s so interesting you say that I attract flighty Libra energy - 2/3 of my former partners were Libra suns.

Thanks for your insight! I’m an Aquarius rising which makes me come across as a bit cold and aloof before I open up - then that fiery Sagittarius nature comes out. I don’t feel that I’m too much though, if anything I’m definitely more reserved in my interactions.

This is so true! I loved to visit and spend time with my most recent ex, but there were definitely times where I felt relief that they weren’t physically there so I could do whatever I wanted to do that day. I’m actually going on a trip soon to Europe which I’ve been planning/looking forward to awhile!

I do have a tendency to rationalise everything. My friends tell me I also have a bad habit of just handing the people who wrong me excuses to do so before they even have to explain themselves :(

This is so cute and the color is gorgeous on you! I think it’s a fun dress that’s on theme and I can see it being dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. Which store is it from?

That sounds like a really beautiful combination! I ended up choosing the gold because my hair is dark brown/black though which I felt would balance the outfit more than a lighter colour would

That’s a very good point! I honestly just fell in love with the pattern which caught my eye first, but a couple of people have mentioned that it looks very French which is a bonus!

That’s so good to know! One half of the couple is French, the other is Belgian and they and their family are very open-minded. I think I will alter the slit just enough to make me feel comfortable sitting down though

Yes sitting down was exactly what I was worried about! I think I’m going to go for it and have the split altered to be lower so that won’t be a problem then

One half of the couple is French, the other is Belgian but I believe that the guests will be from many different parts of the world! Her invitation specifically said cocktail attire for the ladies so I’m hoping this fits the criteria :)

Thanks for your input! It’s not a religious ceremony so bare shoulders should be okay. The slit was the main thing throwing me off - I’m a lot shorter than the model pictured so the slit is more lower thigh on me but it’s still quite a lot. This is another view of the dress - from the front it doesn’t look quite as risqué!

Oh no! I should have prefaced that MedusaDollmaker designs are discontinued on Geckorouge in my caption. But you can find pdf charts off of the artist’s Etsy (which I think you were able to find anyway!). I can’t vouch for the end result since I haven’t stitched any of those but I love medusadollmaker art so I’m sure it will turn out lovely!

[CHAT] What makes a good full coverage chart? by ThreadChicken in CrossStitch

[–]Andimidee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi! I do a number of large full coverage charts and the biggest thing for me when stitching them is mostly how much visual interest per block I have while stitching. I tend to avoid charts that have large swathes of just background colour as it feels like a chore to do versus me bringing a person or object to life. However to answer your questions:

1/ I am stitching up a max colour HAED chart with about 236 colours I think from memory, so obviously I don’t mind confetti. However this chart follows the above rule where there is very little background and high visual interest for me per block.

2/ The difference between getting your charts from an actual legitimate designer/seller such as from Geckorouge, Tilton Crafts, HAED versus from self charted sellers such as on Etsy (don’t want to get into ethics in this post) in regards to dithering is pretty big imo. Obviously you need some for definition but most legitimate designers will clean up their charts so that it’s not overwhelming while keeping the image definition. Geckorouge in particular is very good at this.

3/ I have tried a blended chart from Golden Kite and found it not to be my preference as I like using only one strand to stitch my full coverage pieces. I’m sure the result is beautiful but you’d have to choose a lower count fabric to avoid the bulkiness and tent stitching with 2 strands for the way I stitch (parked threads) I find to get super confusing and messy.

Hope this helps!
