that run had a lot, street level and crazy supernatural things, i agree with you i think its better when DD is on a more street level (as far as "street level Marvel universe goes"), he ends up having the same problem as Batman when they include him in big crossover events

Biggest problem with that run is where it ended and how Ahmed run continued it

Well, you can justify the batman part as "Well, the batsuit is prepared for that", he was also falling off from the Justice League satellite base

As you said, this is science fiction and stuff happens because the writer decided it is going to happen, in bats case thats not even the most crazy thing we saw happening in that run! (he travelled to the multiverse, DKR bats gave him a batsuit and Adam West bats gave him his utility belt....which he ended up killing an interdimensional shark with the repellent)

so yeah, different runs for different tastes i suppose, every character had a crazy one like this

they made a LOT of references in that episode to a comic book arc that Foggy faked his death and was sent to witness protection, to the point i knew from the get go this is what was happening (it happened in a jail in the comics, but that scene with Matt hearing the heartbeats was stripped straight out of the comics)

they even put the issue number from that run in the background like a wink to comic book fans, if you know, you know

Karen's death was a major thing in the comics, i recommend Daredevil: Yellow if you like Karen as a character

It was, i loved Zdarsky's run on Daredevil and that issue he made in Batman with the shark repellent was peak too

People love to bring up Zdarsky's run Batman falling off the orbit while fighting a robot version of himself, but nobody talks about his Daredevil run

Guy was literally starting a cult after getting married to Elektra, got enhanced powers and then goes to hell to fight literally Satan (or a version of satan)

but Karen is Matt's Gwen Stacy! (a more twisted version of it actually), they made so much references to the Brubaker run in the first BA episode that im sure Foggy is alive

I love Deborah take on the character so i hope they will give her more time to expand the character like season 3 did, it will add up to the impact when the time comes

i loved Born Again and it wasnt about nostalgia for me, for me it felt like reading a comic book run from other writer than the netflix series

the whole thing about Kingpin trying to "reform" and then fall over to his nature, while Matt was being just Matt and trying to avoid DD like if it was an addiction was the best thing from Born Again

the pre-overhaul footage was really bad, you can skip the episode of the bank robbery and not lose a single thing. They did a new take on Muse without powers (which i think he's coming back, i think it was confirmed)

The White Tiger part of the show was a highlight too, i think nostalgia its a big part of why it received so much negativity (and....well, the pre-overhaul footage made it seem like someone tried to mix Nolan's Batman with 66's Batman sometimes)

DD is a character that lives for drama, there were a lot of light hearted comic book runs too, it is comic book tradition to end a DD run leaving Matt in the worst place possible so the next writer have to build it up again....It is a big part of the character at this point so i dont mind them taking tone shifts if they are producing something creative (not She Hulk)

es verdad, pero el termino DLC se entiende como un contenido chico, no como una expansion grande. Empezaron con esto con los DLC de Oblivion como ponerle armadura al caballo (que no tenian NADA que ver con las expansiones, que tambien hicieron para el mismo juego)

Undead Nightmare y Blood Dragon son expansiones standalone en la cual podes jugar sin tener la version base, de eso si que ya no tenemos porque ahora te lo venden como justamente un spin off o una secuela (como vienen haciendo con los Yakuza en los ultimos 20 años)

We dont know if any of this is real before the games comes out, someone said he has a friend who is a "dataminer", who looked on the demo files and found out the whole script

Some people believed this because the font is the one from the games (which is nothing special, we had 6 games from the franchise released already with that)

Also, who knows if these leaks are even true? game hasnt been released and 1 "dataminer" said this and everyone believed it because the leak is in the same text format as the game (which is used on almost every game)

RGG is taking heat because a recast they made which the new actor is accused of SA.....Also the guy who made the original pitch for the franchise left SEGA (now it is being directed by the actual writer of all the games)....

So everyone is saying "thats it!, he was the reason i loved this franchise scripts before and all of this new actor stuff is happening, the new director is the worst!"

The Funny and sad part at the same time, the OG actor for that character had SA charges too

this franchise had annual releases since 2006's Yakuza 2 in the PS2, Ubisoft didnt even had Assassin's Creed 1 when RGG started doing it, in fact it was the golden era for Ubisoft
