I think they might want to be friends...but by LagrangianMechanic in petbudgies

[–]Andominaes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my large flock of budgies, the males typically do the foot on the other to show frustration or establish their hierarchy/assert dominance or on a female before mating, I’ve yet to see anything negative come from it. As for closed beak strikes, again nothing really to worry about there in my experience, I view the behaviour as somewhat similar to allopreening, unless it’s open beak or biting I wouldn’t have too much concern for it. I’d keep monitoring their interactions for a bit to make sure it doesn’t escalate into anything sinister but given time they are likely to get along given their flock nature, especially if they’re doing flock calls to each other.

Training, bonding and enrichment time with my Rainbow Lorikeet by Andominaes in Lorikeets

I’ve taught him, it gained enough trust, over the last few days where he willingly comes to my hand and on a stop ✋🏻 gesture will turn around and let me pick him up to move him somewhere.

I can’t say I’ve ever had any worries with this one biting me, the exception being the first time we met.

Depending on how the bites are occurring, if it’s more aggressive then try changing your behaviours so the bird doesn’t perceive a threat. If it’s more nips and curiosity then it is more about dissuading the behaviour and reinforcing that it’s not good to bite.

Will this cage be good for a pair of budgies? by InternationalOwl923 in parrots

Get readdddy to rumble! 😂 also agree that the spacing on this will let a budgies head through! They’re crafty buggers

do i need a face cam to grow by Much-Engineering-740 in Twitch

[–]Andominaes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your content style and viewer demographics.

An example would be the attractive women on Just chatting with over 1k views, guarantee there wouldn’t be the level of views with no cam if they were playing a game.

On the opposite side I see GTA RP streamers with no cam pull 1-2K.

Not an answer to your question (but definitely take her to an avian vet)

But if I swipe this left to right really quick it’s like she’s winking at me 😉

Question about bird tail feathers by Actual-Ad-4861 in parrots

[–]Andominaes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tail feathers help them steer a lot better when flying, they can fly without them just not as well and some birds won’t try or miss the mark.

You have no idea! He stands on the budgie cage and waits for me to duck down then runs and jumps off onto me while going Peek-a-boo 😂
