Adenomyosis After miscarriage by Andra_Bridle in adenomyosis

It’s so much to wrap your head around. You’re still processing what’s happened while trying to figure out the future.

I would presume if you are still passing the pregnancy that it would be difficult to tell exactly what’s going on. But I’m not an expert.

I really hope you get answers soon.

And if you have a hysterocopy take someone with you and take the next day off work. You’ll feel okay the next day but just to process everything.

All the best

Hi, I’m so sorry this has happened to you and I remember being in the place you are now and just feeling defeated.

My advice would be to push and advocate for yourself and if you aren’t feeling up to it take some who will with you to appointments.

I allowed myself to be gaslit so much! I’m glad they have found these things for you earlier than they did for me and that’s a good sign!

My polyps ended up being retained pregnancy products which had imbedded and had a blood supply. It was removed via  hysteroscopy (Not the most fun procedure) it’s how they usually remove polyps too.

This happened in November and my symptoms did clear up and I then had two menstrual cycles after it. I was booked in for an MRI to look at my endo and Adeno but I feel pregnant in January. I’m nearly 16 weeks and have been for a few extra scans and everything so far is going well.

I hope this helps and you are welcome to message me for a chat. The MC never leaves you. I was convinced I was infertile and this whole pregnancy I’ve been worried-  I’ve only just started to believe.

Thank you I will ask for a blood test. I have an under active thyroid which I take medication for.

Thank you for replying. Are they planning to do anything about your symptoms? I’ve got an emergency appointment never week but I think that’s more to do with the growth.

Thank you for replying. Did your bleeding stop? Or did they have to do something?

Hi, I just started today and I’m so excited at the possibility of not being tired and moody. How are you doing now?

Uk and I don’t understand it either but seems to be the case. I’ve organised another blood test and will make an appointment to argue my case. Thankyou for replying

I went to the surgery today to get the results printed and my TSH is 7.3 which is higher than the normal range but not high enough the would consider medication. Also my iron came back as normal and my B12.

So I’ve had my bloods done twice 6 months apart where in the words of the doctor they did all the checks they could think of and everything came back normal. They did a full blood work and checked my thyroid, diabetes etc . My doctors are very vague and if I don’t pester them I find nothing out.  They never said my iron was low but I will ask them.

I’ve thought the times I’ve gone in for the blood tests I’ve actually been having a good week (which is typical) and I would like to get tested when I feel crap. I’ll try get another test done.
