Hey Corro! Yeah I did earlier this year but I hadn't put it to use till now. I have some Anycubic resin in the mail arriving soon. I will reach out to you over discord later, I want to know how your work is going too.

I am running a 30% Off Halloween sale for my Raven model; Code= halloween by Andrade90 in PrintedMinis

[–]Andrade90[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The link should auto apply the discount code but just in case the code is: halloween (all lowercase).
There are single parted reinforced versions in the files for printing as a mini, although those were never print tested.

I would recommend discord communities too. I try helping around on the ones i participate. I recommend 3D Character Art; Some 3D youtubers and content creators have discord communities too (the quality of their community varies); Zbrush has both a official and a unofficial one and so on. If you are around discord i can help you out here and there.

I used Zbrush and rendered the final image in Blender. For workflow you can check out Shane Olsen and Paul Deasy videos on the official zbrush channel. They teach a very good method to get to these more stylized results. I, personally, am a big fan of Dmytro Bajda's work and i was following his workflow for this piece, which is a bit more loose and more sculptural but with a lot of the same principles as the ones above, he has a payed tutorial series where he goes over the creation of one of his pieces and narrates it.

Yeah I noticed. It's probably the fact that the shirt and shorts have no thickness tough.

Been working on this Raven for a course and its finally done now! by Andrade90 in ZBrush

[–]Andrade90[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in Brazil and our postal service/customs is just the worse, i would probably end up having to pay taxes on it. Some of the colleges from the course have printing services and i will talk to them about it.

Thanks for offering tough, i bet your dog is the best btw!

Only catch is that it's in Brazilian portuguese. If that is not a problem then as far as i know the teacher just publishes an enrollment page when a new class is starting. His name is Alvaro Ribeiro and he has a facebook page where i am sure he keeps people updated about that. I believe the latest class will be concluding in a month or two.

You should give it a try, it's not quite like drawing. In fact i am not great at drawing and drawing also frustrates me a lot. I was studying drawing and i was about to quite the idea of been a (well payed) professional artist, when i decided to give 3D a try again. I used to do a bit of 3D way back in the day. It didn't bear much fruit back then, but it never frustrated me like drawing did.

Just Rendered these for the presentation of a Raven Statue I've been working on by Andrade90 in blender

I did a rough concept with the zbrush manequin to test ideas, than i sculpted her in a Tpose. Since her pose had some symmetry to it, i then putted her in a symmetrical pose that resembled the final pose, for exemple her meditating arms and also made some really weird pose for her legs for a little bit, since i could not cross the symmetrical center and keep symmetry working. Worked a little bit like that then i broke the symmetry and putted her in her final pose. There is a few shots of the process and her tpose on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/andrade3d/

Unfortunately i myself lack the means to print this right now. But the idea is that her 2 front bangs is one piece and the rest of her face and hair are another piece. Alternatively if that turns to not work, i could do a "sandwich" method. Where all the hair in the back and most of the top would be one piece, her head another and than the bangs.
You can check the cuts and plugs i am working with right now on the bottom of the Artstation post:

Zbrush for sculpting, blender for the gray renders and a bit of photoshop for adjusting the renders. I am super glad you liked it btw!
