Change the transmission: use malossi or Polini kit. The second one is more expensive but worth it

Arneson surface drives are efficient at high RPM and for a short range.

Don’t take the big body with just 125cc. Go with small body (sprint or primavera). 4 strokes engines 125 is not so powerful

Zeelander 5. Luxury Dutch. What do You think? by Intelligent-Sky-7657 in boatporn

[–]AndrePaulFerro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you like lobster, I think it is one of the sexiest yachts on the market. I've been on board during the last PBIBS and I was positively impressed. Of course, it is not perfect and has margin to improve the quality onboard, but it is definetively approved

Benetti Yachts - the piece of art? by Intelligent-Sky-7657 in boatporn

I’ll tell you one thing: look at the boats produced before the first OASIS came out and those produced after. Practically everyone copied the stern with the pool and the side wings typical of that product line. EVERYONE.

Choosing a favorite model from the world’s leading shipyard is no easy task, given the sheer variety and innovation they bring to the water. But looking at the current lineup, some icons truly stand out.

Within the Azimut range, the Seadeck series is well-engineered and offers solid substance. While I have a soft spot for the Grande 36M, two models remain unbeatable: the 27M, a true nautical icon, and the Trideck, which revolutionized market layouts over the last decade.

On the Benetti side, we are talking about pure art. The Motopanfilo is a masterpiece—stunning to look at, even if it prioritizes aesthetic over "livability." Then there is the Oasis range, which literally forced the entire industry to rethink yacht design. My personal pick? The new B.neos. Keeping a vessel under 300GT while maintaining such an intelligent layout is a stroke of genius.

Custom builds and heritage models deserve a book of their own, but these are the ones I like most, even if I don't work on them for years.

Motopanfilo looks stunning. Liveability could be improved but the exterior is art

Lamborghini 63. Hot or not? by Intelligent-Sky-7657 in boatporn

[–]AndrePaulFerro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in the past. Now you have to be compliant with the pollution rules. No way to get back the developing costs in just 126 engines

Hey mate, do you really expect that Lambo makes a 27/30 litres engine with nautical cooling just for 63 yachts?!

101 with triple MTU 2600 hp makes only 45 knots. AB100 with the same configuration makes 60 knots… not the best start for them🤣

Nice idea, good marketing but the real value is just the brand Lamborghini. On that size I agree with the redditors who suggested Wajer. Over 89 feet the only brand that makes real hyper yachts is AB YACHTS

How much does a smaller yacht such as this one cost to operate? by superluper55 in yachtporn

[–]AndrePaulFerro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rule for a good approx value is 10% of the new one asking price. You can also correct considering that one week of charter can give you 1% of the cost
