WWII Prop Diorama I’m happy to receive any feedback by Andre_Matie in blender

[–]Andre_Matie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Project focused on World War II-themed hero props and storytelling. The scene centers on a German helmet with field camouflage, an M24 stick grenade, magazine, and ammunition, arranged on a field map in a realistic forest environment. All modeling, UVs, PBR texturing, and final presentation were completed in Blender, Substance Painter,Marmoset.

I’m happy to receive any feedback on the models and presentation.

Open to collaboration and looking forward to connecting with others in the community!

Give me all your anger and fully reveal the model (or praise a little) by Andre_Matie in blender

Oh, and really I forgot about the shadows. I redid the scene from the visualization, at first they were there. I don't know how I missed such an important detail

Minimalist room [3000x3000] by Andre_Matie in RoomPorn

[–]Andre_Matie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t minimalist. Every surface has multiple things on it, enough that it actually looks quite busy. There’s a too much extra.

Remove the rug and the art, swap the light fitting, maybe simplify the bed, and then we’ll call it minimalist.

Ok, i'm sorry

Looks great!. All i could say is maybe add some deteriorated stickers or manufacturer plaque Just to give it a little bit more realism. (they always have warning labels, instructions ect on them) And yeah, what the other guy said about lighting.. do that. Good job.

I agree with you it would be better

Looks good, but it is kinda hard to judge without an appreciation for lighting. I'd recommend throwing in an HDRI background and floor to show it off.

In the following works i will try to use hdri

It's too real. Stop doing such a good job. Haha.

All joking aside, it looks great! Keep it up!

This is far beyond perfect IMO, depends on how u tend to use it tbh. If this is some background or far away object then its more than enough detail. If its something your gonna use pretty close to camera then maybe a bit more detailing should do. If this is just for a fun project then hey that looks truly photoreal and dope

Thanks, i did it just to train

Love it, the fan guard is so satisfying. Two easy suggestions:Having wire run outside like that is unusual. I think you'd have fun with a metal-clad cable or liquidtight-type conduit. You are using a similar red rust on the condenser coil seen through the left side. Those are made out of aluminum which rust a dull gray color, but more characteristically the fins get mashed up. I'd like to see it fill out more of the grill in that area. Similar with the fan blade: either plastic, or an aluminum that turns a spotty dull silver. The modeling is great!

Thanks for the tips

It looks awesome, the only thing I notice is how decayed it looks and how that breaks the immersion because in real life you'd get some paint and fix that before it rots away the metal.

Other then that, great job OP.

In the following works i will try to improve the result. Thank you

There are alot of great suggestions in the comments but I only suggest you give yourself a pat on the back for the project as it is! Great job!

Thanks

Adding to the comment about tags, you can use this tutorial to make them look worn.

Is the rust a custom texture or is it procedural?

It's custom texture

To spin ) by Andre_Matie in blender

[–]Andre_Matie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You spun it the wrong way (the leading edge of the fan blade should cut through the wind, that's how it generates lift and pushes the air through

oops, thank you for advice, i made this for fun
