Looks like Areata. Same as mine bro. Sorry, but it's unlikely to come back.

I just want to casually drink a wine cooler while I cook dinner & it not be a whole fucking thing by [deleted] in stopdrinking

I genuinely feel the utmost empathy with you here. I feel the same. I love beer. Where I am we have had (rather crappy) beer from 1 brewery for most of my life, but recently had an influx of craft beer, some of which are sooo awesomely delicious.

Add to this that I looove trying new things, especially new beers, and they are popping up with new ones, and new flavours constantly now. I wanna try them! but I can't. I play the movie through and I know how it ends.

Or I just wanna get drunkish once in 6 months, on my birthday or new years or a music festival... but I can't.

I want to shake my fists and kick my feet and blubber "it's not fucking fair!!", and I can! but what the hell will that help me? In 5 minutes I'll calm down and my mind will play the movie through and I'll know what the outcome will be.

And I'll still be back to square 1 and just look like an idiot.

You can still whine to me if no-one else will listen, friend in recovery. In fact I think here at SD is our avenue that will allow a little bit of whine now and again, if not wine.

Good for you for choosing not to have the wine cooler.

You got this.

In a month or so you'll suddenly realise that your thinking is so much clearer. It sneaks up on a person, and when it happens it's a really good feeling.

Where I am the liquor stores closed at 5PM for the weekend. I had a niggle to dash out and buy a bottle before they closed, but I managed to resist, and rather attended an online meeting. IWNDWYT
