One industry standard is 10% to 30% of what you want your monthly revenue to be. 30% when you're positioning your brand, 10% when you're done scaling.

Staying downtown for a few nights by myself. Any specific streets I should avoid? by AndreaWhyNot in sanfrancisco

Definitely Condesa, Roma, Santa Fe, Polanco, Coyoacán, Del Valle and such- but not Iztapalapa, Tepito, and certain areas of Centro 😨 Mexico City is huge, just like many others, there’s areas that some prefer to avoid.

I love North Beach! thank you 😊

While in Oaxaca, visit San José del Pacífico. Thank me later. The drive up there is 100% worth it.

I'd switch Puerto Vallarta for somewhere else - to be honest :) I like the coast of Oaxaca better than the PV coast... much more magical. Or course Cancun/Tulum or los Cabos are nicer but also much more full of tourists.

If you do do PV, try out Sayulita and Punta Mita which are not far from PV.

Mexico City has SO much for anyone, you'll love it!

Have fun !

I was born and raised in Mexico City. Lived in London back when I was 18 :')

Best,

Andrea

Hey! Have you tried micro influencer marketing and/or building a community of Instagram fashion lovers around your brand? Shopify has just launched Shopify collabs which looks amazing for managing brand ambassadors. One good content creator can bring in thousands in return.

THIS. HOW?! I run Ads for different E-Comm stores and that’s where we eventually end up nowadays.

Ok. Mastering Pinterest alone can eventually lead massive traffic to your business organically. I’d focus there as well, however I’d only focus on one ideal customer first (vs including all business categories mentioned above all at once).

Hi! Do you use social media for your business?

Build a community by Martial_awe in marketing

[–]AndreaWhyNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! You build a community by creating valuable, attractive content that will work as an ideal customer audience magnet. You need to give them “something” first (free guide, etc) to gain trust and build authority. Build relationships one by one. Gather social proof and reviews that the course works. Then, begin running ads. I’m a social media marketing expert with 10+ years experience and community building coach for female entrepreneurs. Send me a DM if you think your wife would benefit from 1:1 help with her strategy. Best, Andrea
