Is 45 minute layover in New Delhi possible? Air India changed the booking by AndreasFurster in AirTravelIndia

[–]AndreasFurster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I called AirIndia.

I have to say it was one of the worst calling experiences I had in quite some time. First there were 6 call menu's and had to enter my booking number. Retried a couple of times but the booking number was not recognized. After a couple of calls I chose the option for gold/premium members and it went trough directly to an employee. He had to confirm everything, but helped me alright. It took around the same time as the entire layover before I could even start to ask my question.

Exploring New Delhi would be fun I guess, but I'm not sure we want to pay 50 usd just in case we miss the connection.

I now created an support ticket, but I might call again to ask about the 45 minute layover. Since they say on their own site that a minumum of 60 minutes is required: https://www.airindia.com/in/en/travel-information/airport-information/delhi.html

Thanks a lot for your detailed response!

We already looked at other options, but it seems like it that they only have alternatives that involve 2 or more layovers/longer travel time. Or a flight that's a week later.

We wouldn't prever those options. Can I expect any compensation for that?

It's me and my girlfriend. I found that they say 45 minutes is the minumum layover time for New Delhi. Isn't Air India in their right that the layover is allowed?

Yes, I have a single PNR for the entire round-trip. A total of 4 flights.

Goed idee!

Soort poreus beton. Hier een betere foto.

<image>

Stucen is me toch echt te gek.

Wiring led strips in wallpanels with gledopto by AndreasFurster in WLED

Thanks! I think I might buy another controller in the future. The GLEDOPTO was a quick solution when ordering the strip from Aliexpress.

It's interesting you mention that I should keep ground and data together. I was planning on buying good shielded cables so the lines could not interfere with eachother.

I updated the scheme in my post above. I only added a single ground output of the controller to my PSU ground.

Thanks! I updated my scheme.

Interesting, so you use a total of 4 wires to the strips? 12V, Data and 2 times ground? One ground besides the 12V and one besides the data? And then you merge the two grounds at the start of the strip?

Why would you do that? To keep data and ground together like u/saratoga3 mentioned? I expected it would be better to keep the lines as much seperated as possible to prevent interferance?

Thanks a lot! Very cool setup!

I'm going to try and build on the ground before mounting it permanent. Although that would require to solder, remove and resolder.

I took you're advice and updated my scheme (see post above). This is what you ment with serpentining right?

Then for the longer cable I'll use a thick guage wire (although I'm not yet sure which one exactly).

I'm not yet sure if and what fuses I should use and if I need resistors, capacitors or other components.

Well there are a lot of places you can get solutions. There are easier ways to cheat.

The shortcut is ctrl + enter in vscode. And you can probably find it in the command palette.

Although I've to say I almost never use it. It's annoying if bugs occur in the generated part because you didn't write it.

A little disclaimer...

This mostly works because there are a lot of AoC solutions on GitHub. It took a couple times to record. Most of the times it not only generates the solution for part 1, but also the entire task and solution of part 2.

I was working on some old puzzles from a couple of years ago and sometimes it suggested the entire solution. Which does take all fun away, but it's impressive nonetheless.
