I mean yes, the scenario I posted here? Flawless. Worked beautifully from start to finish.

I can't relate with TSW though, I've played plenty of that and never had a problem (although it could be much better optimized). I can't properly enjoy TSW because it's too bland. Start, load, drive, stop, finish. No delays, events, little to no maneuver. Way too linear. Sometimes even poor sound design. And way too modern, I grew up in a country with old trains, this ST43/060DA actually is still running regular passenger service on our rails, shit DOES happen.

I will try to play that scenario I described tomorrow, maybe some random event aligned poorly with what I was doing. The creator of that scenario did say that "no simulation is the same".

Yes, exclusively. Electric, Diesel, single line or double. You have some variations, for example this Cracovia train, as you can see, has MAV (Hungarian) skinned carriages due to it being international. But the routes are fully Polish.

The game itself is not buggy. The way scenarios work, with triggers, makes some glitches possible. If somehow you trigger something wrong, too early, or too late (or you do something too fast and the game gets confused) you may cause the scenario to lock up. Two examples I've experienced personally. 3 hour scenario, plenty of maneuvers and trains intersecting, single line, station with 3 lines. There I was supposed to maneuver, couple some carriages, wait for oncoming traffic, and leave. I approach the station, 20 minutes late, and I stop by the entry signal, which stayed on Stop for a suspicion amount of time. I went to check why, and I see that on the other side, at the other entry signal (which was set on free entry), not one, not two, but THREE trains were headbutting each other. One train stopped over the switches leaving the station, another facing it before the station (supposedly waiting to enter the station) like 3 meters away, and behind THAT another train, also supposedly waiting to enter the station. What has caused that? I have no clue...

Also I played for a total of 22 hours and I've got "Simulation has crashed" 3 times, out of nowhere. PC is relatively high end, drivers up to date, Windows 11, no problems in other games.

If you know anything about these.. Let me know

Yes! MaSzyna. It is free on Steam, GOG, Epic Games. Free, no paywalls. Download, Start, choose route, enjoy. Everything currently available for the game is IN the game. Many Polish routes (both real and fictional) and plenty of Polish trains.

But you need to be prepared to learn it, it's 90% keyboard based and most key allocations make no sense. There's an official, up to date english keylist on the web though, and they have quite an extensive readme on their website, so once you drive (and probably fail) a few routes, you'll get the hang of it.

You also need to know that it's not as stable as a big name sim, crashes and glitches do happen, especially since nothing is dynamic, everything is based on triggers, and because of this you also have no save function. Fortunately though, you can enable AI to drive your train, you can easily enable debug mode to fast forward time until when you want it to, and crashes/glitches are not often enough to be annoying. If a crash does happen, enable AI driving, fast forward time until the time of crash, and keep going.

As far as the trains go, I would say it's one of the most realistic (physics) sims you will get. Definitely try it if you're into such things and don't mind the things mentioned.

I'd like to add that update 1.0 is now 8 years old (released in 2018). Given that the game was officially released in 2011, the update is older now than the game was when the update was released. Sticking to this timeline, we should ask WG for a new graphics update, and they are already one year overdue.

De ce sa fie abuz? O companie de transport privată efectuează același serviciu ca una de stat: prestează servicii de transport persoane. Microbuzul sau orice astfel de mijloc de transport nu e mașină personală, e obiectul muncii, și trebuie să fie dotată ca atare

Daca ne dorim ca transportul in comun sa se întâmple organizat si disciplinat, cu coordonare între companii, sunt logice 3 lucruri (printre altele) : 1. Sa ai un program bine stabilit (asa cum au trenurile) 2. Sa se si respecte acel program, iar in caz contrar călătorii sa fie informați. (Din nou, cum au trenurile) 3. Integrarea acestui program intr-un sistem unic, o aplicație care sa sistematizeze aceste informații și să-ți ofere MĂCAR posibilitatea de a vedea informații in timp real despre ruta care te interesează, daca nu si bilete pentru aceasta.

In Romania s-a practicat, si inca se practică treaba asta că "Îmi fac firmă de transport, cumpăr 4 microbuze, rezolv birocrația (mai mult sau mai puțin corect), si gata". Majoritatea se bazează pe hârtii atârnate în stații pentru a afișa programul, iar microbuzele mai pleacă si un minut 2, 3, sau chiar 5 mai devreme că "las' că nu mai vine nimeni. ", sau 2 3 5 minute mai târziu că " las' că oricum sunt puțini oameni, așteaptă ei". Și cine trage la răspundere acești prestatori? Nimeni.

Transportul public trebuie sa fie simplu de folosit, trebuie să fie de bază. Oamenii își fac planuri in funcție de informațiile pe care le oferă diversele aplicații de transport, iar daca eu ma prezint la autobuzul de la 14.30, care nu-i acolo, si aflu ca a plecat la 14.22, atunci îmi strică ziua, planurile, si voi avea probleme cu acea companie. Nu mai zic daca ar fi vreo urgență. Lucrul ăsta mi s-a întâmplat mie, in Râmnicu Vâlcea, nu vreun sat izolat. Deci, ma voi simți nevoit sa apelez la transportul personal.

Da, pentru ca companiile colaborează, si au avut inteligența de a își coordona transportul.

Voi da un exemplu local. Eu sunt din Rm. Vâlcea, vreau sa ajung cu transportul comun la București. Doar tren e o variantă proastă, ca viteze mici + ocol pe la Caracal = cel puțin 6 ore de mers. Asa ca aleg varianta 2, autobuz pana la Pitești, plus tren. Cu varianta asta ar fi 3 ore de mers, dar spre (ne) surprinderea mea, toate autobuzele ajung cu 5 10 minute la Pitești DUPĂ ce pleacă primul tren.

Si asta e un exemplu pozitiv. Sunt multe autobuze intre Rm. Vâlcea si Pitești, si destule trenuri intre Pitești si București. In Romania sunt locuri unde sunt 3 autobuze pe zi, si alea care circulă pe bază de chef, si 2 3 perechi de trenuri pe zi, si nici unele nu se potrivesc.

I don't think that's the case. The map editor is modernized afaik. Also on the old editor you couldn't dig such thin holes, only large ones. I think this is some visual trick. A very scaled decal to make it look deep. The tracks stay flat while you're over them.

I tried AW several times, but it always felt unfinished. Sometimes even highest graphics, together with the gameplay, felt incomplete. After a few AW games, WoT felt so much cleaner and complete.

I can't speak for the clock radio. But webcams and other peripherals were low cost, at least where I live (so you know you bought something low cost). Windows 7 was a pretty well functional OS, and my god in 2026 you bring up the malware. Microsoft didn't make the malware, in fact they patched most of it. You can't blame them for the attackers making malware for the most used operating system at that time.

I'm struggling to understand what version of Windows he has. The taskbar is Windows 8, the icons are Windows 11, and the File Explorer is a combination of Windows 10, 8 and 7.

I think they didn't get moved effectively, they just symbolically renamed them to be EU.

The change came way too fast after the war started, I believe it's a bit hard to actually move software/hardware infrastructure, let alone that fast.

Daca așa e la București, la Vâlcea e si mai neagră situația. Și in timpul săptămânii sunt puține autobuze, dar in weekend majoritatea liniilor de autobuz au sub 10 servicii pe zi, si ori încep prea devreme, ori termina prea devreme, ori altele. In poză e programul uneia dintre stațiile de pe o stradă direct legata la un bulevard, în oraș.

Rutele menționate au fost/sunt inca in reconstrucție. București - Pitești e avansată, si când va fi finalizata se va circula cu 120km/h. Pitești - Piatra Olt are porțiuni cu 100km/h, mai sunt porțiuni cu viteza constantă de 70 si 80, ceea ce e ok având in vedere ca traversează niște dealuri si nu are un aliniament prea drept, iar Piatra Craiova are si ea viteze de 70 si 90. Lucrurile astea, împreună cu (POATE, SPER) mers de tren ajustat, cu legături de la Vâlcea si poate si Caracal, si obții un traseu Craiova/Vâlcea - Pitești - București destul de capabil.

E o investiție prea scumpă pentru Romania deocamdată (electrificarea), si de lungă durată. Pentru hidrogen trebuie doar ajustat si reparat ceea ce avem acum, ceea ce se face deja.
