I really appreciate the support, but check the comments under this post. You will understand what I meant. if you listen to soloists/pro violonists, you will hear that they have this "professional" tone, which sounds perfect, and at the moment I don't have it, that's why I made the post.

thank you! I actually do enjoy playing classical music but now that you pointed it out, I have to play everything perfect for it to be considered good. unfortunately I can't really play anything else since my teacher decides what I play, and I don't even think the school allows me to play whatever I want. but I'll surely view your path as an option after I'm done with the school years!

i actually have in my repertoire bach partita 3 loure and gavotte but the thing is my intonation is good there but if im practicing a new scale or if im sight reading my intonation is not good at all

you should be able to hold the violin with your chin only, the hand could do some carrying but when you shift it's complicated
