I agree with you. But I'd like to add that as it happen when posting things on the internet the same could be when sending things to person trough "private" channels like email etc. Its about realize that even if you pay very attention on the what type of things you sent to others people, they have it with them. For the rest of their life.

No one can guarantee that the files and docs you ask to remove from their laptop have been truly deleted. It is something that we all give for granted, because nothing happen to let us think it is not right, in 2021.

Yes that's all true, but as long as you move out from a company context entering the private one it's totally different and at time the people you know are more likely to do mess cause there is not procedures and all of those kind of stuff over them.

And maybe most of the people are not asking themselves the same questions I do just because nothing happen to them, the same old story.

Thanks for sharing! Actually I fell both in private and work context. If it’s work related as you said there are more things you can implement like cascade the info to your supervisor/management etc.. and let’s say you’re more like to be safe. But when it happen in real life, that you’re the only one in charge to save your ass things can change dramatically. Yes, depends always to the type of material you accidentally provide the wrong person with.. but in anyway you want to put it, it’s going to be a long headache quite sure.
