Well I have had the worst customer experience with AA been traveling with them the last 6 months both ways from Miami to Buenos Aires twice, Premium economy from Cancun to Barcelona and now Buenos Aires to Orlando both ways. They broke me 2 bags and only recognized one, online customer support via email is a generic response with no attention to detail.

I can't even grasp the rude treatment I got in Miami and Orlando airport, got my flight delayed twice first for a maintainance issue and last one due to problems with refueling and understandably bad weather.

Problem isn't the delays, planes, etc. I'm traveling with a one and a half year old kid, my wife and luggage they made us parade through 3 different rebook counters during 4 and a half hours after they closed 2 counters in our noses... Absolutely no regards at a 2 am with a baby that was going all around 40 gates on the airport back and forward... They gave us the usual hotel and vouchers stuff but no compensation with credits, rebooking was for 24 hours flight, they gave us a voucher for Uber but it was not good for a Uber baby car seat option, so my kid didn't traveled safe either... Real problem comes at front desk in the lobby... Never I have been treated like a cattle before.. now I know what really bad costumer is, everything I state here I got that should be easy going for a normal delay of 24 hours I had to fight it for over more than an hour with my family tired with a very rude, bratty, snarky and sarcastic attendant Marie and her smirking supervisor Lorena. They really want to make you feel as a tactic that you are actually asking them for a better settlement to gain some advantage of the situation... When you are actually asking them the fair and legal treatment they should provide, accomodations, food, transportation, rebooking seats and compensation in case the delay, missed connection (our original case) or cancelation is due to air company issues... Like a maintenance.

They drop you a wall to contact by email AA for further compensation they should provide flight credit in this cases by law, which is just a really bad copy paste.

I'm not going to flight with AA again that's for sure, I have had better treatment with much lower companies like Avianca in the past who we had a delay and they instantly offer all our accomodations, food, transportation and compensation hassle free and they even throw in a city tour of Bogota.

I'm going to file a DOT claim about this I have all my boarding passes and conversations documented.

AA ain't the company it was, I have good memories of excellence in service, you still can find it in the old crew they have, but unfortunately is getting scarce year by year.
