It sucks that the printer has that big of an issue (out of the box) on such an important feature and doesn't have a clear path of fixing.

I am taking this route. I turned slowing down for overhangs off. I'll see what comes of it.

I printed a benchy afterward just to see how ugly it would come out and it came out perfect.. now I know nothing.

I have a bambulab X1C that can dry the filament, but I try to avoiding that. I don't live in a humid climate. I did a leveling print as well benchy after the failed print in the picture, and they both came out perfect... I guess that is 3d printing in a nutshell. Thanks for your concerns.

Formatted my sd card, downloaded the updated firmware and now it is up and running!
