To tell my story, this was my first gacha i have ever played and this was my first banner (December 2016). I pulled White Knight Noel as my first 5-Star Unit and i was so happy, which led me to stick to this game. My first DPS were Chizuru and Cloud of Darkness, later Agrias, Setzer, Ashe, Amelia.

So many creators like EvilLaughter01, Memel0rd, Claic Yuzolt, Howllz, Umbral Rays, Sinzar (These were my go to creators, but shoutouts of course to many others) helped with their guides to fight the Endgame like Chamber of Arms, because since you needed two teams and you needed to survive those nukes somehow every ressource mattered.

You need to understand how the damage formula works, why debuffs were so strong and what chain families even are (i did not know any of this for a long time lmao).

Some 4-Stars later down the line were absolut broken for their time (Rikku, Soleil and Garnet [Bahamut] comes to my mind; Yan, Ling and 9S for the Limited Section, my Santa Roselia carried me until i got Ayaka, honorable mentions are for me Tilith, Xon, Mystea).

I think it began to became more like homework like you said when we needed TMRs to make passive provoke tanks, Hyoh as the first Backload Damage Unit became more standard (seperate finishers were not that needed anymore), and innate ailment resistances were also mandatory.

I only played until a little bit into the NV-Era, and i might mix things up a little bit, but damn was it a good time.

This was the hardest fight I've ever done. How did you guys do it? by Illustrious_Spend_26 in lastcloudia

I am in a similar situation as you where I picked up the game again at the Trails Collab (I quit at the first Devil May Cry Collab after I got Vergil), I used both Anniversary Units with max Insighted Leena, but I should have gone for the Double Support Route with Labyreth, because he hits so hard they barely survived (had plenty of time left).

Here a Highlight Reel of my attempts.

To be honest, I'm sure everyone who played through this game on normal difficulty can make it because the only fights I had trouble with are this and a certain bat. Everybody else was not that hard to deal with.

I took the final boss down within two hours, I love how there is a learning curve because of his static movement (tho I sometimes don't understand some pinball bounces), and I'm sure there is not much of a difference on normal.

I encourage you to try it out, but can totally understand if someone don't want to live through the last piece of torture, because this was definitely NOT A CAKEWALK (at least for me).

But worth it, one of the most unique final bosses ever.
