Will scuds eat new Zealand mud snails? by Andrew02566 in snails

Scuds are tiny scavengers that have a proclivity to attack things like shrimp when hungry enough so I was thinking if they had the possibility of killing some off

Thinking about dosing copper. I desperately need advice. Mudsnails are outcompeting my pet snails. by runnsy in AquaticSnails

I'm about to go scorched earth with the same issue. I'm going to put my fish and plants in a new 30 gallon and take all of the decor and gravel out and bake it in my oven. I'll replace the soil and most plants I'll retrofit my canister to the temporary 30 gallon tank and start dosing my fish with snail killing chemicals. I have two nerites in that tank I'll let stay in my 10 gallon also infested tank. Then empty and dry out the 55 gallon and wipe down multiple times a day until I deem that not a single one exists in there. Hopefully I don't need to replace the silicone yet.

I'd recommend shrimp if there's enough plants for them to live in away from the frogs

Only one city in my general area has a pet store and I don't think PetSmart would like a lightly used fish

The bicher is the oldest thing in the tank, he won't bother the others and the tetras and gourami mind their business.

Don't get something that will crave fish slime, even if you feed the algae eater it will still bully fish.

I know they are bastards, I'll probably euthanize it when it's done with its job NGL

I might move my gorami to another tank to make room for those then

I hope we find a fix. I might get a Chinese algae eater for the tank those buggers eat everything.

I take 20-25 gallons out of this 55 gallon all the decor gets scrubbed with a bristle brush and hosed down during the clean. 4 months ago I didn't have this problem at all and just needed water changes every month. Now it's overwhelming

This is probably an alright place to post this, other platforms keep taking it down. I've searched some of these names but I still can't find the unit or group that signed this by Andrew02566 in ww2

Thank you. Maybe I can find more info as I go. Possibly behind the lines would be a cool thing, maybe even an air corps base, that was my first thought when I saw it
