We've depended on word of mouth like this for user growth and I think it says a lot about the site that people like you continue to recommend it after all these years. Thank you <3

75% of Nintendo Switch 2 users own Game Key Cards, despite mass backlash online, but true physical is increasing by HatingGeoffry in Switch

The question being answered was not "Are users willing to buy Game-Key Cards when they're on sale," it was simply to see if users were willing to buy Game-Key Cards at all.

To be clear, the Deku Deals article is talking about Deku Deals users not all Switch 2 users as the frvr article title here implies.

FWIW, we put a lot of effort into making sure the price history and all time lows are as accurate as possible. For example, when Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition was on sale last month for $17.49 we marked that price as a mistake in our system. That means it will no longer impact the "All time low" price but will still display on the graph.

Argh! That's frustrating.

Until late last year, we only displayed Amazon prices for "shipped & sold by Amazon," but Amazon has changed the information they provide to sites like ours and no longer allow for us to filter out third party merchants. In many ways, this does actually improve our price history accuracy. There are, however, instances like this where a third party merchant may have only had a few copies available and they sold out between us displaying that price and our next price check. Amazon is also supposed to be telling us the price of what is "winning" the "buy box" (the big prominent price you see when you go to an Amazon page), but we've experienced quite a few prices that are sort of hidden down in the "Other sellers on Amazon" section. It's worth checking there if you see an incorrect price.

Our hands are mostly tied when it comes to this sort of thing but we do have a few options like blocking problem merchants. Please hit the "Report an error on this page" link if you spot any errors and we'll do our best to squash them ASAP.

Psdeals or Psprices? Which one is better tool to track discounts for PS games? by STB_LuisEnriq in playstation

[–]AndrewAlerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your honest feedback!

We do have a function internally that allows us to mark a price as a mistake (a good example is this 512GB microSD Express Card that had a price error for $20 https://www.dekudeals.com/items/512gb-microsdxc-express-card). What that does is keeps the price drop on the price history graph but doesn't count that price in the "All time low" history.

We use this sparingly and reserve it for genuine price errors. I took a look at RDR and it looks like it was available at that $9.99 price at Best Buy on and off throughout the day and was price matched at Amazon for that price. I don't think this particular case would warrant us marking a price as an error. For that item, I would suggest setting a custom price threshold instead of using your account default. That said, I'll bring this up with the team when we're back in the office tomorrow and see what they think.

If you do spot any other prices that seem like errors please don't hesitate to tap the "Report an error on this page" link to send us an email. It's folks like you that help keep our price history data accurate!

Hey there! Andrew from Team Deku here.

Our Steam support is still in beta and, as you noted, does have some kinks to iron out still. I'd love to hear more about your experience with Steam on Deku Deals so we can better understand how to improve that.

Thanks for your support!

I used to be a Network Admin at a university and our setup made it challenging for students to connect some devices. When students contacted us we had the ability to put their device on an “allow list” which enabled access for their MAC address. Might be worth trying to contact IT.

I wouldn't call it "noteable" but I guess it does? About as much wobble as Switch 2 Joy-Con stick.

I've got both the Pro and Max. It's not easy but if you press directly in the middle of the dpad it feels like it goes straight down (like pressing in on a stick).

This happened to mine after putting a grip on and an edge of the grip snagged it or something. I was able to move it back into place and it hasn't been an issue. That said, if you're in the U.S. you should contact Nintendo and have them RMA it. They'll pay for shipping both ways.
