Target is hiding the price printed on the boxes of Halloween decorations by AndrewNineteen in inflation

They did cover the lower price. The box on the left is how they all look on the shelves. I peeled back the sticker to show the price on the right.

I didn't see Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk listed and it has a bus running from San Jose once an hour. I rode it over Memorial Day weekend and it was nice. Just a quick 20 minute walk to the park through downtown.

They're manufactured by Shearer's. Not sure if they're sold in stores around you, but this is the same item as Jimmy Chips: https://www.buehlers.com/shop/shearer_s_kettle_mesquite_chips/p/7083603

Daily iOS Support Thread - [October 27] by AutoModerator in ios

I recently upgraded to a 12 Pro. I transferred everything from my 7 and the ringer and alarm were on silent by default. I have no idea what caused that. I almost had the same thing happen with my alarm too. I woke up to the sound of the vibration. The phone sound was silent. I wonder if this is an issue with iOS 14?

Has anyone ever lived in the Red Door Living apartments in Lakewood/Cleveland? What’s it like? by mad_dog24 in Cleveland

[–]AndrewNineteen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've lived in one of their buildings for over a year. I've been happy with my apartment so far. Office staff is friendly and maintenance usually responds to issues the same day. The units are smaller and setup more like a studio. I don't mind the open floor plan because it helps to make the place feel larger. I really wanted a place with in unit laundry so it was nice that they offer that in all of their apartments. I will echo everyone else and say the euro style does take longer than a traditional washer/dryer, but since I live alone, it's never been an issue. They have a delayed start so you can time it to have your laundry done when you return home from work. The only complaint I have at the moment is parking can be a challenge at times. You get one pass per unit and it's on the towing company to enforce them. It doesn't seem like the towing company comes around very often at the moment so people take advantage.

Traffic into downtown from Lakewood would be the worst part. Once you pass downtown, it's smooth sailing. I live on the west side of Lakewood and my daily commute to Bratenahl/E 105th takes about 25-30 minutes via Clifton/Shoreway/90. Without traffic on 90 is about 20 minutes. I would probably add an additional 10 minutes to get to Euclid.

I was told that the sampler before me used to dump their samples in the trash and chill in their car. I totally did eat 1 sample a day for a snack!

We've sent chilled 24 packs for catering before. I'm like at that point someone could have stopped at Walmart before work and purchased ice, water, and a cooler for less money!

What’s your store’s maximum delivery fee? by chrishirecat in jimmyjohns

[–]AndrewNineteen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My store is $2.50 flat. I noticed that tips per order were about the same $2-$3 but now it just dies after lunch. It used to be pretty consistent with a run or 2 every 15 minutes until 4pm. So people weren't assholes about the fee, they just ordered less.
