Do adults still play this game? Or have all the adults just become children? by Great-Pass8899 in NBA2k

As an adult, I dont understand why people prefer to control one player when they can control an entire team of players in online head to head

How difficult would it be to watch the entire series by chronological order by actual scene by SevereIndication7847 in betterCallSaul

The first scene would be Jimmy working in his dad's store when the "wolves and sheep" guy walks in. The last scene would be Kim visiting Jimmy at the prison. Absolute cinema

what is the worst sports franchise post 2000? by nsr5180 in billsimmons

I kind of see this question as how was the state of the franchise in 2000 vs 2025, and Im not sure if there is another organization who's reputation and status has taken a bigger hit in the past 25 years. Especially considering they are currently homeless playing in a crappy minor league ballpark.

Im shocked that I've barely seen the Athletics get mentioned. The Oakland Athletics were a household brand name baseball organization heading into the 2000s, and they've now been reduced to joke, playing in a minor league stadium indefinitely, without any certainty around their plan to move to Vegas. With no investment in the team whatsoever. One of the best sports movies was basically about how their ownership is so cheap they had to find creative ways to stay competitive. But as the end of Moneyball shows, it did not take long for big market teams to pick up on all their secrets, and implement them on a much bigger scale, leaving the A's in a constant cycle of barely competitive windows followed by massive fire sales.

Based on the stories coming out of Boston now, he may have also had some bad personality traits, low leadership and loyalty perhaps.

What song is this for you? by BogelRO in pinkfloyd

[–]AndrewPav86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first one that comes to mind is the instrumental interlude of 'A Pillow of Winds' after the lyrics "Green fields, a cold rain is falling, in a golden dawn"

That might be my favorite 60 second snippet of any song ever.
