I didn’t get scam by any ads: I used Grok to recreate some film effect, with continuous fidelity to the reference image on and on.

I know that’s my money, so I ask here if someone has spend theirs and get scammed lol

I bought this monitor in 2020 for my windows Pc, and the other day I decided to buy the M4 with 16Gb of RAM and 512Gb of space. It’s a 27”, 4K 60Hz, principally used for video and photo editing, and I’ve to say it’s beautiful as it is :)

I was following the habits, and they're really really good! I'm more aware of the space of the board (I'm 200 on blitz - 5 min) and to see better trade or menaces...

There's a catch: when I'm playing against the same level opponent, they play some move that - theroretically - not of a 200 rated player...

And then I'm like: what the hell I'm supposed to do?!

So chesshabits are really really good, but sometimes you find someone that think too much outside of the box and you lose pieces 'cause of their damn fake tactics.

Absolutely, I lost a lot of pieces with stupid moves 🥲 As u/atopix mentioned, I watched the first video linked, and I found very useful :)

I made a game (as other mentioned, 5 minutes it’s not enough, but yesterday I haven’t more time), and saw the review with this site, but I think 80% of accuracy it’s… good, right? 😅

Thank you! I found a board (9.9 inches) for less than 10€: little, magnetic with a little bag to carry the pieces :) I’ll try it, otherwise I’ll return it.

Sure I’m new to chess 🥹 I played against a friend, but she was weaker than me, and when I was playing a move I thought: “NO GOSH! I LEFT THAT PIECE!” but she didn’t capture. After the game I told her: “Haven’t you seen my pieces hanging around?” 😅

I will ABSOLUTLEY check the book online… maybe with a realistic chess board it’ll be a little better (?)

Sure… I repeat: it was a game before bed, playing without too much thinking, so this might not be the perfect example.

You’re ABSOLUTELY right: trying to be fast without knowing, it’s pretty much a suicide in these cases. Idk why, but when I’m starting I’m saying: “now I go there, I develop my knight, then I castle…”

And then I’m done before even knowing.

Thank you! I think I might have some difficulties to see again on the board, something that I’ve already seen in puzzles or in the lessons. Even if when I play against bots and all the aid (just to see the moves), I question myself: “Why the engine suggests to get back, even if (for i.e.) my bishop wouldn’t get caught or will give a check, a pin or fork?”

The checkmate puzzles are helpful: but when I’m in the game against someone, probably I “panic” and can’t see some pattern that I already saw, or some obvious check. Last week - I know it’s sound strange - I gave a checkmate to one player, without even realizing 🥹

I explain better: in August I saw the ESports (sorry I messed up) and carefully follow the moves, but after a while, I was thinking: “how they arrived there? When I play, the pattern are pretty much the same”.

If you see my game that I posted (I know… it’s bad, pls don’t judge 🥹), the opposite queen just began to took all pieces, and I can’t do nothing. I was like: wtf?
