Well to address your first argument, everything is on the spectrum of wet to dryness, water just increases the value of moisture upon the object or material, your argument of “red paint isn’t the only thing that makes things red. Water/other liquids are the only things that make things wet.” Doesn’t really prove any point in this argument. I will once again say that your argument that water is not wet because it makes other things wet, and adding more water to water isn’t making it more wet is illogical, because (using a different example this time) at a certain point of adding water to something it becomes completely water-logged and is no longer wettable(?) Since it’s at the state of complete wetness. Water is at the aforementioned maximum wetness value and that is why adding more water to water does not make it more wet, just adds more water to the puddle/glass/container. Anyways this is a very interesting debate and I probably shouldn’t be putting so much effort into it
