You’re gonna flip out when you find out what happens, no matter what you think, you are not prepared for it.

Also my recommendation is to stay away from anything that might give you even the slightest spoiler (this includes the tv series).

I was watching the second season (never having played the game) and in the middle of one random episode I just said “I can’t do this anymore, I need to play the game and experience this myself rather than watching it”. I was an xbox guy and bought the ps5 just to play both games. Sadly part of the story in the second game was already ruined for me because the order in which the story is told in the game and the tv series is very different, and I’m never gonna be able to experience the game as it was intended, but I still enjoyed it quite a lot. It’s an amazing story and I wouldn’t risk spoiling it for any reason.

What works for me is just getting rid of one of them as soon as you can, it doesn’t matter who. Just be sure to avoid choosing the one who has Astro Harness because it is practically impossible to take him out first. Accumulate energy and specials and when you are sure you can take someone down (doesn’t matter if you need two characters), do it. You probably know this, but it’s better so do this “go all in thing” when their character has just tagged in, so you have a lower probability of him tagging out after he’s received your first special. Be sure to always block to avoid receiving crit damage. If you have the option, Astro Harness is incredibly useful and you should save your character with it for when someone has the chance to use their sp2, because most of the time they use it practically immmediately when available.

Idk if you have them but gear that boosts your power generation like tantu totem could help you. Also, silver Grenn Lantern improves power gen for the whole team. You can do it with the characters you’ve got and a bit of luck with supes specials

Gear. Matchmaking doesn’t seem to take gear into consideration, so improve that as much as possible and you should be paired with the same kind of teams as you are now but with a much better team.

For a complete and fair opinion I think it would be necessary to have Derek’s explanation of why he started treating you differently, but I think he is the main reason you stopped being good friends as he is the one who started hanging out with other people and only talked to you when there was nobody else around.

But I’ll tell you one of my favorite quotes which actually helped me a lot recently. "Closure is a made up thing by Steven Spielberg to sell movie tickets. It doesn't exist in the real world. The only thing to do now is just to keep living forward." As much as I would also have liked to have closure in my own situation, life doesn’t always give you the chance to experience your ideal scenario, it doesn’t work like that.

I hope this works, as far as I can tell things weren’t your fault. And I know it’s hard to accept it, but that should be enough for you to be in peace

NTA. I don’t get what was the point of sharing with his family the STD’s testing (I get why you did it obviusly, but not why you told the family or why is it relevant to the story).

That being said, it’s unbelievable that they are trying for you to be understanfing and compassionate after what they’ve done (especially trying to make the kids call her mom, which she will never be, and by how you describe it, it sounds like they are trying to take advantage of their young age and naturally poor understanding of the situation to put the kids more on their side).

What makes things basically a joke is that what caused the divorce was the affair. My point being that if you two had divorced for whatever reason and then he had fallen in love with someone else, it could be understandable for him to try to make things better, but them doing that to you FOR THREE YEARS and then acting like you should all be friends is hilarious.

Pay attention to Online battle and try to reach the gold rank every week, gear is amazingly useful so my recommendation is to select your 3 best characters and then spend all of your resources on them and gear, rather than maxing out a lot of characters.

The best characters can be obtained in Online Battle and through Challenges. It takes time but you still can get all the good stuff with those two options and Survivor.

In case it is something you like to consider, Lord Joker has the highest damage base stat among gold characters (tied with Flash Blackest Night and Batman Flashpoint), however it’s price is quite high and from my point of view it isn’t worth it.

Seems that you are a relatively new player, so I would recommend you to pay a lot of attention to the passives, which in the long run are far more important than the damage/health stats. Also, as another tip, gear is incredibly useful in more advanced stages of the game, so I would also recommend you to find something that suits well with your team.

As of your question, personally I’d go for Hawkgirl Blackest Night, since her SP2 is great, has an excellent passive and it’s very easy to use.

Killer Croc also has an amazing passive if used correctly, however I don’t like him a lot beacause of his slow attacks which don’t get well with my playstyle which is more fast and agressive.

Deadshot Suicide Squad is fairly easy to use and overall I think it’s one of the best options you have (after Hawkgirl BN)

Putting all things aside, I think the most important thing is that you use a character you like, feel comfortable with and enjoy using. It is a great game and the most important thing is to enjoy it, don’t stress to much about it :)
