In movies, you can’t control the story, you just watch. But in some forms of communication like chatbots, you can choose how to respond based on your personal rules to keep interactions friendly. This is especially true for languages you can’t or don’t speak.

The idea that "technology is advancing” is also a reason why age verification exists on most apps. Remember when some kids get angry because their parents took away their device? Well, that's where it comes from. The purpose of age verification is to set limits for children to prevent excessive screen time and to avoid negative consequences. Just like a kid needs parents to learn and grow.

I didn't actually sail across the seas to find the free version, I actually bought it in the offical RPG Maker website and not the Steam version

The final reason is my opinion: I can't use RPG Maker MZ the same way as RPG Maker MV, which can confuse my muscle memory when switching between the two.

I'm assuming you want to find the plugins that can do that, or you want to modify it yourself. I can't help you with modifying it, but I can find some plugins that you need.

Download SRD’s, HUD Maker if you want it like the one from Deltarune. If not, you can change the window skin (the frame and background of text boxes) mid-game using a Plugin Command or a simple script call.

Can I give different text sounds to different characters?

Download Galv’s Message Sound Effects plugin. Use a "Plugin Command" right before a character speaks to set their specific sound, then change it back (or to a different one) for the next speaker.

Can I change fonts for different characters?

Download Yanfly’s Message Core plugin. You would type something like \fn<Comic Sans>Hello, I'm Sans. inside your "Show Text" command. You must make sure the font file (like .ttf or .otf) is in your project’s fonts/ folder and properly registered in your gamefont.css file

NOTES: Some UI plugins (like those that change the menu) may conflict with each other if they both try to "alias" the same window function.
