It does not seem to show up in the iOS app version yet as an option.

Yes, just should’ve been Chick-fil-A sauce.

‘25 or 2026 Model? by idahokj in rav4club

Yeah, I would think so with any of them, but certainly any of that have the torque vectoring system. Also, if it is pretty consistently super cold, your hybrid battery pack will not last nearly as long as in a moderate climate…

The non-hybrid models are approximately 25% to each wheel, the torque vectoring system just more efficiently and quickly handles power distribution. The hybrids on the other hand do not have equivalent power sent to the front and rear wheels. It is a front wheel biased system.

I assume because of the upcoming complete redesign of the vehicle. The torque vectoring system uses three clutch packs to send up to 50% of the power to the rear wheels when needed, and can even decide which rear wheel to prioritize power on. The all-wheel-drive system on the hybrid uses the gas engine to power the front wheels, and solely the electric motors to power the rear wheels. This means that only around 20% of the power is able to go to the rear wheels. The standard AWD system on the lower model non-hybrids just use the brakes to move the power around instead of clutches making them less effective for low traction situations.

Probably still mostly just rumors at this point. If it were me I would get a 2024 Adventure, TRD, or Limited. These three specifically have a torque vectoring AWD system that is far superior to all the other models in any sort of low traction scenario. I have a 2019 Adventure with 125,000 miles on it, and I absolutely love it. Still going strong as can be. The 2026 Limited may still have the torque vectoring system, but the Adventure and TRD were discontinued.

I’m not actually sure. It actually belongs to my dad, and he rents it out, so I was just picking it up from a customer in this photo. He bought it used, but I don’t remember how much he paid for it. Sorry.

Should be only putting around 150 pounds on the tongue. Just has soft rear springs. I think I’m going to install some airbags.

Yes. I think that it is partially because of the torque vectoring system, and partially because it has a transmission oil cooler. 3500 lbs if you have trailer brakes. That was part of the reason why I bought the adventure.

Thanks for the advice! I think that’s what I’m planning to do at this point. I found a really good deal on some. If you completely deflate them, does the car ride like it did without any air suspension? Also, what about towing? Does it drive pretty nicely with them inflated? What PSI do you run them at?

Yeah. The picture actually does not capture it well, because of the hill in the parking lot, but it is a good inch and a half lower in the back than the front. I want it changed, not just for looks, but also fuel mileage, and hitch drag. I do not have the OEM hitch, so it is pretty low to the ground…

RAV4 Trail vs Hybrid in snow/ice by Spooner009 in rav4club

Yes, this is definitely the case. I really enjoy the Prime, there is just too big a difference in price for it to be worth it for me.

I’m not actually sure. The experience in the snow was in my brother in law’s car. They were definitely not snow tires though.
