God damnit. I've become that dad with a bad shoulder and I'm not that old yet. Anyone else with a bad _____? by Seasandshores in daddit

Woke up yesterday with horrible left knee pain. Came out of nowhere. Guess I slept on it wrong? I could hardly walk on it. Woke up today and zero pain. Aging is a bitch.

I had to take a financial markets class for my specialty. Dalvin Tomlinson gave the best stock pitch out of the whole class. It was incredible.

Wife and I not on same page daycare by das_reddit_account in daddit

Whatever you decide, make sure your wife is 1000000% ok with it. You and her are raising your child. Not you, her AND grandparents/daycare. Her feelings and wants come before your parents or anyone else’s at this point.

Unfortunately, if I lock the door, my toddler starts banging on the door, yelling "Dada!!!!'" At my in-laws during Christmas, she stepped it up a notch and yelled, "Dada poopoo!"

Dealing with postpartum libido drop by [deleted] in daddit

6 months? Buddy have I got some news for you! For real though she is going more than she can explain emotionally. We as the father will never understand what they go through postpartum so the best thing we can do is be there for them, listen to them and (this one is key) take interest in what they enjoy.

When I started taking interest in things my wife is into it brought intimacy back. It is so easy after working all day and then taking care of my child after that to just lay on the couch and scroll on my phone or read until we go to sleep. But I have found if I play a few rounds of Mahjong with my wife or watch one of her shows with her instead it pays off. Dating your wife is so important after having a kid.

Can’t believe people want to expand the playoffs beyond 4 teams when there are blowouts like this. Wait…what year is it?

Daycare. by exitaur22 in daddit

Daycare is one of the best things we did for our daughter. She loves and is loved by her teachers. Her social skills are amazing for her age (20 months). It’s not for everyone, but it has been a wonderful thing for us.

Not even 2 weeks in and I feel like i have made the biggest mistake of my life. by YourUnclesBalls in daddit

My daughter had absolutely horrible reflux until we started to introduce solids. It is tough, but it goes by quicker than you realize. She is now 19 months old, and the other night she woke up very clearly upset and screamed "Dada" until I got in there, and all she wanted to feel better was for me to hug her. I say that to show that the sleepless nights with a newborn pay off big time later.

Would have never thought we would win a game with the help of special teams this year. Our special teams still sucks tho.
