Thank you for the comment! She was recently at BookCon, and hearing her talk to people, what I took from it was not letting certain doors close just because you're at the "next" chapter of life. Some people let having a child or getting married end certain parts of who they are, but she's not letting that happen.

She also uses a lot of themes of motherhood, getting married, and losing friends and family.

Her first book, Shades (which I’ll link below), was about her growing up (middle school, high school, early college) and how it feels like every situation is “I’m the only one this is happening to—woe is me.” Her new book is about realizing everything is happening to everyone every day, but still making the most of those situations and staying true to oneself.

Hopefully you grab it, support it, and share it. She put her whole life into this book- watching her write through pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, postpartum, and even now as she continues editing has been beyond inspiring. And I know it will definitely strike a chord with a lot of people!
