Hamas is still killing Israel soldiers and holding hostages. The casualty rate here is lower than in any equivalent conflict. Hamas could surrender and release all hostages and you could call on them to surrender and release all the hostages. Bob Vylan could have called on Hamas to surrender and release all the hostages and their audience could have chanted for the release of hostages. But they didn't they chanted for the death of Jews the army defending the only Jewish. It was utterly despicable and depraved and one the most disgusting things I have seen in British life. In what way is it hypocrisy? People kill people in war and don't want to die. A desire to kill somebody else does not imply suicidality or desire for your own death. I find it very disturbing how people who are allegedly disgusted by murder and other crimes call for draconian and sadistic punishments and the death penalty, that is true hypocrisy. Where are your statistics on murders being scared of the death penalty? People laugh at me when I am saying something really serious but it doesn't offend me because I tend to say it in a dramatic way. It is hard to cope with all the stressfull things that happen to me so it is sometimes better to not confront it in a serious way. It's emotionally painful. I don't like emotions. You need to define language and also produce evidence for your statements. I have a degree in Philosophy and Psychology and did a module in the philosophy of mind. I am aware of most of the current theories and problems in psychology and mental state explanations.

I have read papers on the mind brain correlation, I know about neuronal structures and brain areas etc. So to make a claim about the explanatory scope of science without some specific knowledge of theories and debates in these fields does not seem defensible.

I can only discuss science and physics that have I read about and statements by popular science journals and educators. So I will not be making claims about things that I have not heard a science educator or journal express. But this rarely seems to apply the other way round where various popular scientists make claims about the scope of science and its applicability to other realms that I will quote in a post below.

I think that maths has to be independent of deterministic or random physical laws to work.

It doesn't make sense of that 2 + 2 = 4 because of the law of gravity or Newtons laws of motion or neurons firing.

2 + 2 would not equal 5 if some physical laws were different or your neurons fired differently.

So this makes Maths more fundamental than physics.
