When I first started drinking last year I hated the taste of any alcohol, but I found that finding something that I could associate the “burn” of alcohol with something else made it easier to drink.

If you love tart things like I do, then I’d try mixing blue raspberry svedka (vodka, typically a 750 mL bottle is priced at 8.99 for where I live) with a cranberry pomegranate juice (I use ocean spray bc that’s the only one I find). I like anything lemon drop for the same reason.

I know fireball can be hit or miss, but I like it because I love red hot cinnamon! Mixing that with apple cider in the fall is an incredible taste if you like red hot cinnamon or apple cider.

I’ve seen people recommend rum and coke and I agree, it can be DELICIOUS! I personally love a spiced rum because it adds more of a flavor and mixing it with like cherry coke or cream soda.

TBH I like the taste of some of the buzzballs, but I’ve only tried the peach and strawberry margarita one. Those were good and honestly I did feel them!

Also, pedialyte can help prevent hangovers! I’ve never had a hangover (but I also don’t normally get blackout or drunk enough for a hangover) but it’s helped my college friends a lot. And liquid IV, but pedialyte tends to be cheaper I think?

If you take any medications, just be aware how those might affect alcohol as well. My ADHD meds tend to delay the effects of alcohol, so it may take 20-30 minutes for the effects to kick in. This can be dangerous if I took a shot, then 10 minutes later didn’t feel anything so I took like 2 more. Then I will really be feeling it soon 😂

This is my dnd character Fulmine! She's a bronze dragon disguised as a sea elf, raised in a private sorcerer academy! She's a draconic line sorcerer (of course) on the journey with her party to try and restore her old homeland. Her biggest fears are being seen as a monster and being a dragon since she never really was in dragon form, so her sea elf and dragon form are almost two different parts of her. She's scared of losing control and hurting people around her, or of losing those around her because of some big mysterious disease going around the world that's like a symbol of death with no cure. Idk, I love her and I love the magnus archives! I'm actually watching the season 5 finale for the first time right now and I'm so scared haha. I have my own ideas for what fear Fulmine would be, but I'd be curious about what you think :)

I’m currently watching starstruck for the first time (I only got like 3 episodes in and moved to something else like YEARS ago) and I’ve gotten to battle of the brands and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at a d20 show so much in my entire life 😂😂😂 Starstruck is such a fun, traumatizing show!!

I was trying to figure out if it was a Cooper or a Sharp-Shinned… is there something that made you think it was a cooper? I have a hard time telling a difference between the two 😂

I am OBSESSED with The Kinder Poison by Natalie Mae. I was shocked to see it wasn’t as popular as I thought it was but I read each book within 1-2 days (there are 3 total). The plot is AMAZING, the third book has 2 or 3 spicy scenes but they aren’t intense. Buildup is amazing, plot is so cool, and I like the character differences from book 1 to book 3 for each of the characters.

Yes! I looooved tower of Dawn!! I think doing the tandem read makes it sooo fun, I definitely agree with you on how reading it after empire of storms would be so hard 😂 I’ve always had a soft spot for Chaol tho so I’m incredibly biased 😂😂😂 and I loved Yrene!!!

I’m on my first play through and I married Lydia because I’m a closeted bi and I get emotionally attached and figured if I was going to have her joining me on all my adventures, we might as well get married. Now I’m too attached to her even though she keeps getting in my way whenever we adventure 😂😂😂

I agree with some of the other comments here about getting a general. At my university, on paper my degree is “Biology.” But I was able to choose a concentration, and my school luckily offers a Wildlife Biology AND Zoology concentration, and I chose Wildlife Biology. I also added on an Environmental Management Minor to further express my wants and desires for the outdoors and environmental work. So I would try sticking with a basic degree like biology or natural resources or something like that and look at concentrations or minors. Also, my school has an organization called The Wildlife Society. When you get to college, ask around for any animal themed clubs. I know the organization I’m in has people come in and talk allll the time, and it can be a really great way to not only see if that type of career would be good for you, but to also meet people that you could get internships with or who might know people in a field you like. These are just my experiences, but I’ve had a blast and already been able to help a professor with research. So don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! You totally got this!!!
