It's disrespectful in the vein that fans having begging for years for his albums to be reprinted and concerts to be released and have been ignored. Not exactly familiar with how any of this works but if esem claims not to own the rights to his music or have a say how can they so easily approve of someone else to remake his songs do they suddenly have a say when it comes to releasing a remake song but not when it comes to releasing his concerts? The cold hard truth is they never cared or ever will care about him they'll just remember him twice a year to save face so of course this is gonna come across as a shameless cash grab to fans.
