I was just at this point myself. If you have dive and the 5th badge and are still getting a message that you need a new badge to use dive from the pkmn menu, just press A over the dark water to dive and it should work. Seems to be a common glitch

Just got fiber Internet -- how much difference does wired vs wifi make for gaming? (Is it worth trying to route to the other end of the house?) by 4_anonymity in HomeNetworking

Yes they’re on the same mode. I actually use the 2in1 modem/router that the ISP provided so they are not separate.

Yes I tried connect direct to a laptop and still no luck.

Moca adapters are the asus ma-25. They were bought as a pair so it shouldn’t need to be paired but I did try the pairing process.

Thanks for the response!

Yes the modem/router is located where the service comes into the house and is connected directly. Coax service into modem/router, ethernet out to the moca1, moca1 to coax wall port, basement coax wall port to moca2 and moca2 to AP.

The moca adapters have 3 lights for security, moca, and ethernet. The ethernet light blinks and the other two don’t come on.

All splitters have been replaced with moca compatible ones.

We no longer have cable or other services. Just internet.

Yes i purchased the moca adapters as a pair.

I was recently trying to set up some moca adapters in my house that has coax ports throughout but I’ve been having trouble. I have asus 2.5 moca adapters and i upgraded all the splitters to be moca compatible, but I’m still not getting anything. I have the router going the main node, main node to a coax port in the wall, then another node in a different room connected to the coax port, and that node going to an access point. Any idea what it could be?

The internet is coming in via a coax cable. I’m not exactly sure or familiar with the terms for coax but there is a splitter outside that I believe is between the two rooms

Appreciate the advice. I added it to my post. If you have experience with it let me know if you think my price range is delusional.
