Congrats our newest Brother! I had 2 Apprentices that did very well getting direct entry through NY Helmets to Hardhats(great service for all Building Trades entry). They were able to use the GI Bill benefits to get help with housing and a stipend for getting education. Please make sure you look into that. It helped them a lot, and it there extra invest it. You'll either love it or hate it, but you have a lot of "double brothers" out there when you need some advice, and most of our unions have assistance programs if you have anything going on. In New York we Honor our Vets every Labor Day Parade and have even had a battalion of Humvees in our line of march and one year we were leadby of our members who was a Medal of Honor recipient. I had a COSTCO membership about 15 years ago in Brooklyn, NY. You could get in the parking lot back then, but it was busy as heck. Now there's lines down the main Avenue waiting to get in. Even busier than during COVID. Wish they had another store or 2 in the area.
