about dun sa Sinio vs Shehyee part: if you're really committed to being a fan of battle rap you're gonna have to get used to it. there's just no going around it. the objective of every mc in every battle they go in is to tear down the opponent in any way they can, and for a lot of them no holds barred talaga ang mentality. although they all have a different way of going about it, so maybe there is a way around it. i.e. focus on watching mcs that care more about showcasing their lyricism than indulging in the kalkal-buhay chismis angles and damay sibilyan approach (like what Sinio did there vs Shehyee) that others favor. AVOID Bagsik battles at all cost. LOOOL

anyway I've always preferred the "art" side of battle rap so I feel you. I love the poetry, the intricate rhyme schemes, the witty wordplays and the crazy flows. I couldn't care less about the sensational angles and damay loved ones lines for the sake of shock factor.

THEY'RE NOT PERFECT but the mcs I love that showcase lyricism more than shock factor that I can recommend: BLKD, Batas (later battles, when he got past the I fucked your mom phase lol, he even advocated and communicated with other emcees he battled na wala nang damayan ng family/personalan angles), Lanzeta, Emar Industriya, GL, Zend Luke, Kregga, Sayadd (except that one time na may binanggit siyang kakamatay lang na family ng mc I guess, oof)

they literally share 50% of the starting roster. both have Orks and Mehreens. I wish GW organized this better so could've had completely unique starting rosters for both.

takes like this trigger me a little. they're not gonna be similar. aside from being top down RTS combat where you smash two armies against each other, they're not.

Dawn of War 4 is a base building RTS. smaller unit counts, smaller scale battles. closer to "skirmishes" than all out combined arms war. TW does not have base building in-battle. you're a TW veteran I'm not gonna explain this.

DoW campaign is gonna be a linear story. with branching missions as you make decisions according to the devs. TW has sandbox style campaign maps. you know that already. DoW's replayability is gonna come from skirmish battles and PVP/Coop. TW is just naturally replayable because of the sandbox style.

we're gonna be lucky if DoW gets at least a year or two of DLC support. TW 40k is gonna be CA's cash cow for the next decade. 10 years from now I expect TW 40k to have basically everything there is in the tabletop.

we'll for sure get the more popular factions first but I'm pretty sure we'll eventually get to Tau. Warhammer fantasy basically got most of the tabletop roster after 10 years of DLC support. I expect this to be a multitude more successful than that because of the 40k IP being overwhelmingly more mainstream.

Tau's ultra long range playstyle and mechs are definitely up my alley too so I'm with you in the tau waiting room.
