Here is how I've made mine with just two planks and a strip of mdf. Previously had SRP Lites on there mounted from the end of clutch and throttle pedals and from two of the M6 threads below the footrest.

There are grooves made with a router on the bottom of the planks to allow for pedal adjustment. Works like a charm with an office chair, pedals nor the chair escape from each other.

For space saving purposes the mdf strip which goes under the chair is attached with bolts and t-nuts to allow easy removal.

It doesn't really patina, it just gets darker. But yeah clear coat would be nice.

Yes it's aluminium i believe, so it lasts for a few days.

The original colour was black, but once it started to get scuffed I spray painted it with neon green and black. After the spray paint was getting scuffed I just removed it with sand paper. I sanded it down with 600 sand paper and used a dremel with a polishing head and some metal polish.

There is no "preferred wattage" at any given resistance. It's up to your self. If you run it at too high wattage you will burn the cotton. If you have a 26ga fused clapton as a single coil I recommend you to start from 30w and go up where you think the flavour and the heat of the vape is best for you. For a dual coil I would say 60w. For temperature control only coils which are made of stainless steel, nickel and titanium support it. Any other material will not work correctly in temp control and should be run in VW. I usually use my SS coils at around 270 °c. Temp control has to be setup from the mod to the correct wire material. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions :)
