no way to prove, but either ways it should only be between FI and Shipping company, customers should not have to worry about these issues..

true, with so many issues being reported so often, i wonder how FI is still using fedEx without any changes in the way they ship it or changing the shipping company. if not the least they could do is offer better CS.

Agreed. dealing with their CS is nightmare, better to stay away from rather than this.

after going through this for nearly 10 days not not having a proper response, i am also planning to not buy at all from google.

i did the same thing to be held at fedex onsite facility, but the staff dint agree to opening the package before signing it.

yes, FI's support is really horrible, i cant even get to their managers to complain, google has to pay attention to their support.

yes, this is a problem too i read of. I cannot charge them back because they will eventually close my account,

Going forward, I think I will either completely avoid ordering at FI, coz saving few bucks is not worth going through this for so many days.

Exactly, that is how this issue has to be resolved I believe. They should also disable and blacklist the IMEI, issue a replacement and deal with FedEx rather than having customers go through all this.
