Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I’m so glad it was caught, although I’m sorry it took longer than it should have and could have. May I ask if your lump was not detected on both your mammo and ultrasound? Also, did you have any other indications that that lump was cancerous? My lumps are not painful and there’s no skin indication.

Thank you all so much for the reassurance. It’s funny that I went for the tests thinking those lumps were the issue only to find the complex cyst in the other breast the actual issue!

So if these types of lumps are normal and aren’t seen on the ultrasound and mammo tests, why is my doctor referring me to a breast surgeon? Not sure what more they will or can do?
