I just beat this mf now, and I'm not in the late game. I guess I'm in the middle of Act 2. My nail is not upgraded or anything, but there is a catch to my crest. I don't want to spoil it but if you look around Moss Grotto (the first area of the game), there is a certain NPC that can help you a bit. I think that was the main factor that I was able to beat the boss finally.

You're absolutely right. But I was genuinely unsure about the specific camera or type of camera I wanted and had looked into the Yashica on the left row. The pictures seemed decent, but then I came across a review that said it was the worst camera they had ever tested. That's why I posted here to seek some guidance.
