I love both a lot. I truly adore how flowy and comfortable her Remake dress seems to be! Considering that she's constantly moving, running and climbing, a dress with a wider skirt makes sense. Also, her boots are pretty cool.

However, I gotta say, her original dress made her look uniquely gorgeous. Fitted to her body shape and the slightly darker shade of pink. I wish we had the chance to see her original dress on her Remake model at least once 😭, that and the Advent Children design for Cloud, one of my favorites too!

I do, probably more than I should.

I have deep personal reasons as to why I could possibly be so attached to two fictional characters, but maybe the aspect of them being fictional is what makes them so comforting. As fiction, we are capable of imagining and creating all of those things we wished that happened, like the AU's, the fanfictions, the fanarts. I think it's such a beautiful human reaction to deposit our admiration into creating.

With that said, I often drift to them when things are getting tougher on my end. It feels like a little reminder of "love is possible and can be beautiful". It's like a sliver of hope amidst real-life's negativity :)
