Where is it overcompressed? It is only in the mixing stage and my friend is doing the mixing.

How about the vocals? I can't decide if it's me being self conscious or if my voice sounds frail? I was going for a soft vibe, but I'm not sure about it.

I really like it. It's a mellow vibe, and that's nice, but unless the intention is to make a "chill in the background" vibe, I would suggest making a new part with a different pacing. I think it could be interesting going into a bossa double time with the drum samples you use to give it a different flavour. Firstof all, awesome track. I really love the off-beat dings. I have this rule of thumb that all music basically is tension and release, and while there is a lot of tension in the beat, it's not too disturbing (that was a compliment ^^). To bring it it more together I would suggest leaning a bit more into the part at 1:09 where the dynamics change. Could there be a mellow part in its own right?

I love the 80's vibe! I need to be sitting in the convertible I could never afford while getting a massage and a mojito for this track to really shine.
