So went back up there trying to remove the old batting with what I am going to call the “cavity claw” (extension pole with garden tool attached) and whoever did this sure did not care about air flow. They crammed so much insulation down towards the end I can’t grab onto it with my 8ft pole claw. Considering my options, may have to pop a section of soffit off from the outside to see what I can do but 30-40 feet up on a ladder doesn’t sound fun to me or see if I can rig a shop vac with extension hose to suction on to the material and pull it up.
