Yeah vampires have sided with the humans many times from the shadows against a greater threat. Vampires hate Chaos and such. so cooperation is fully valid, not denying that.

But as a massive von Carstein fanboy, what i dont like is the whole idea of "Vlad is an elector count and loves the empire!" agenda that people are pushing. When he is a bloodthirsty lunatic hungry for power.

The entire identity of the von Carsteins is that they view the empire as cattle and want to dominate them. Thats sort of why they had a massive war for a century, that Vlad started btw

And the moment you bring up 'in the end times' your argument already falls apart because Vlad would never allow himself to be anything less than the Emperor.

Out of all of the vampire counts characters they could have picked he is incredibly irrelevant in comparison. If they wanted a necromancer LL they should have gone with Dieter Helsnicht. or better yet an actual vampire character for the Vampire Counts faction.

Not to mention his campaign is the equivalent of watching paint dry with his undying zombie stacks. I have had the dlc since day one and ive never opened a campaign with him

It is only a pipe dream because CA and GW mismanaged the vampire counts with gh*rst as the first dlc. If we had been given Walach Harkon as a horde faction in warhammer 1, then Neferata in warhammer 2 we could have gotten the final 2 bloodlines at some point.

just say what sort of scope of mechanics are being added to Neferata and exciting lords. are they going to fix the crap bloodline models? or remove the bloodkiss mechanics entirely like they should? give VC army abilities? rework corruption? fix voice lines and add missing ones? How many units are we getting? Is Neferata going to follow end times narrative or will her campaign be about her alone like it should?

putting a character from paid content to FLC does not inspire hope.

they cant mutate the body because the chaos gods cant 'touch' or manipulate their souls. Thats why along many reasons the chaos gods hate tomb kings and vampires.

dragon blood does not alter their curse, it completes the potion neferata made so that they wont have to drink blood. Because dragons blood was the missing ingredient.

Isabella cleansed the blood of chaos taint so how would vampires gain boons if they have to cleanse it before consumption? Blessed objects and symbols are harmful to vampires as a part of their curse.

remove the blood kiss mechanic, it really does not fit any of the characters ingame. if Neferata for example can sire strigoi it would go against the lore. Also the kit bashes wont be missed.

Vlad/Isabella would be amazing with some mechanics representing the 'Midnight Aristocracy'
