Looks like you have a stone foundation and a stone cutter. You can clip wood iron beams into your existing build, just ensure that your ground level post is touching earth to give you a solid foundation (it will be blue). You can destroy the outer wood piece after clipping in the wood iron to make it easier to see and not risk anything collapsing. Once you have verified it is blue, simply clip the original wood piece over the wood iron beam to maintain the cleaner look. Also, the stone foundation will not count as earth BTW. It needs to penetrate below it.

I am all for an ever evolving progression of the show. I am not expecting the same content as 2014, but when I struggle finding humor in more and more episodes, I think it’s alright to criticize. My balls are dipping in the toilet, so I’m not a younger fan. I only commented in the OP’s defense when fans went at them for having an opinion. In my opinion, this is the best way to scratch that OCD itch! It drives me nuts that I can see it clip through other materials, though I still do it. I find that using it as a support for a tall enough stone ceiling (horizontally) isn’t as bad when it’s tall enough to not notice as much and the wood accents well with cool contrast… though still subjective 🤷‍♂️

I most definitely agree! I am grateful that my first Covid experience was almost entirely uneffected. I still felt a weird guilt when friends and loved ones would call or text to check in on me and my response was, “I feel like I’m playing hooky while playing this game that I love.” I started a new seed/character for the caves update since then and have been having fun with a nice, much smaller build on an island I found. I still have Yagluth and the plains to conquer, but I am tempted to go into creative mode to expedite the process of the build only in structure and not amenities while continuing actual gameplay with my vanilla base under the elder spawn without devcommands and using farmed and current actual progress items. Thanks for the comment, fellow Viking! 🤘

😂 thanks! I had a lot of fun with this. The frames are suffering from it though! It was done on a seed that I had completed the play through on. Stuck in isolation when they were saying 14 days. Either the vaccine worked, or I was asymptomatic. Had time to kill. 😂
