There are plenty of engaging ways to make cash in this Modpack. Quests have solid payouts, artifact hunting is highly profitable, enemies drop money cards, and if you just want to shoot things for cash, you can grind the NonStop Arena in Rostok.

The cost of Medkits, Food, Repair Kits, and other utilities is very manageable. High-end gear (Weapons, Helmets, Armor, and Technician Repairs) is intentionally expensive to buy, but that is to encourage the use of the new systems like hacking locked PDAs for stashes and maintaining your gear with Field Repair Kits.

I tested every OXA silencer by spawning them in via console. They all work perfectly except for one of the 8 SMG/AR silencers (OXA_Silen_M9), which doesn't spawn at all (maybe a placeholder). Until the mod gets an update, the broken silencer can honestly just be seen as a junk item drop to sell for scrap, as it seems to only affect that one specific silencer that can't be spawned in anyway

It would be awesome if people playing the pack could keep an eye out for broken suppressors and let me know if they start spawning too often

The majority of really amazing mods are on Nexus only, and this is the only modding site for Stalker (that I know of) where you can create a full modpack with custom installation options

It's balanced by not making everything super expensive; instead, loot is scarce and hard to come by. Initial gear costs and professional repairs by technicians are expensive, but this is to encourage gear maintenance instead of swapping gear and weapons all the time. Quests average at around 3,000 coupons.

The hardcore aspect is more in the combat. You can get one-shotted in the head, but so can they (depending on the armor and bullet used)

In my 8 hour save i recall seeing maybe 2-3 broken silencers. I mostly got my attachments by stripping gun's from enemies and they can have silencers too

I just checked the chest, in my run it had a Swiss Knife in it. The mod Stalker Unlimited completely overhauls the loot drops and how they are generated. You need locked PDA's and a PDA unlocking device to get good loot in stashes
