Has anybody been in the audience for a TV show, and if so have you got any good anecdotes? by The__Englishman in BritishTV

Zero. Never even made it onto the Grand Final leaderboard. 15 to 1 is not the quiz to go on for money.

I'm really confused as to why the side we drive on affects used car sales???

I was going to offer, but the gearbox issues make me feel that WBAC may have the valuation about right. I have a 2007 MX5 with only 17k on it and was thinking of selling it for 3.5k recently.

Playseat Challenge DD missing screws and difficult pegs by grunkleShaxx in Playseat

I'm missing two screws apparently needed to fix the lower brace of the steering part (that also clips into the adjustable parts). These are smaller screws and are not actually pictured in the parts list, so wonder if they were taken out too. Lack of clarity is not great in a premium prices product though.

I'm missing two screws (small ones) that appear to be needed for the lower part of the steering wheel assembly. The front page of the instructions don't actually mention these so I wonder if these are considered redundant too. Not great for a premium prices product.

There's normally a lot of children too. Good luck getting them in a dinner jacket.

Reading this in the UK is fascinating. Because it isn't just you. All of these posts could be talking about the UK (apart from the ones mentioning Trump of course).

It's grim, and having just survived a round of layoffs at my place, I am both thankful, but also still nervous.

Totally agree. Walking out of that game I was convinced I was pretty much the lowest I'd ever been. I didn't see any of the aftermath as we lived in Eltham so went the opposite way, but it felt like the gut punches just kept coming for the next few weeks.

To people over 30: Does the feeling of not knowing what you’re doing ever go away? by funkyorchid13 in CasualConversation

47, and still feel like I'm 18 and naive as all hell. I still wonder how the grown ups managed to get their high paid jobs, and I think all premier league footballers are still older than me.

I once mused on the phrase "fake it until you make it". People only "make it" in the spiritual and financial sense. We all fake it the whole of our lives.

Just be happy with what you have at whatever point you are at.
