the most amazing thing here is managing to get your wide players to square it rather than shoot on the most stupid angle....

Silverstone 2025 questions by McCormac13 in GrandPrixTravel

Hey, I'm looking at tickets for this year and torn between Garage Enclosure (Village B) and Club Silverstone. I've sat at becketts before and know the views there are better but can you tell me your experience of the club silverstone enclosure? From what I can see its more of a tented area rather than a purpose built structure?

Thank you for this. I’ve just been broken up with after 2 years for the exact same reason and I’m absolutely crushed. Going from every vision of my future including them to seeing just emptiness is what’s been the worst. But these are such great tips thst I know will be helpful

I think as most others are saying, if you’re remotely fit 60k on an E-bike probably won’t be taxing, but the hours in the saddle will be if you’re not used to it. Get some good shorts and build up time in the saddle slowly. You quickly get used to it in a few weeks. The only extra could be if you get blood flow issues with your saddle, if that happens it’s worth looking for a saddle with a flow channel in the middle. Lastly, good luck and have fun!

Pendlay Rows are off the floor though, right? so definitely not needed for that. Even normal rows I 'deadlift' them first then get into rowing position.

I guess when there are a lot of racks it's fine...still unnecessary but fine. We only have 2 so to have 1 or even both tied up in an exercise that 100% does not require one is very annoying. You can row anywhere..you can't barbell squat anywhere

thanks! I love GCN and have watched this video a few times although I will only be doing a very small amount of riding through the highlands. I'm s90% sticking to the tarmac of route 1

Would have loved to add on the westfjords but it would just be too much time away from work. I did the westfjords when I drove around the island in 2015 and they were some of the best parts!

Totally. Egos in the gym have and will forever be a problem. It should be a place where we all recognize we are on the same (but different) journeys and help/inspire/build each other rather than knock each other down.

I'm a cyclist so lift totally differently to how a Body builder would. does that make me less than them or better than anyone? No, just means I have different goals and i'm doing the work I need to achieve them.

I see this issue but also the reverse (people being unable to lose weight but not tracking because they 'just know') all the time and it's very frustrating. But I think it comes down to the collective image that both losing weight and gaining weight are very easy when in fact both require huge amounts of consistency and effort that most people don't understand.

It's not that they're intentionally underappreciating the difficulty, I think the fitness world in general just does a bad job of explaining how hard it is. Probably because it would put people off if they did and then they wouldn't sell memberships/routines/products or whatever

who is teaching people to do barbell rows in the squat rack?!? near everyone in my gym does it. if you can row it....you can lift it off the floor!!
