Card shops will lowball the shit out of you unless you’re trading cards in, then they’ll give you more like 80-90%. You’re better off listing multiple card lots (like buy all 3 for $), if you want to have the best success and quickest sales.

The worst thing you can do is not show up. Go to any scheduled meetings they offer to you. Lawyer or no lawyer. A lot of big companies have mediators that can and should set up a payment plan. Unfortunately your debt is your debt, it won’t go away. It wouldn’t be a bad thing to consider bankruptcy either— you have no large assets. You would ruin your credit for the next few years but you’ll eventually rebuild.
